Research Progress on Anthracnose of Walnut and Its Control Measures

Walnut is an important woody grain and oil tree species, possessing high economic and ecological values. However, anthracnose poses a severe threat to its industrial development, making the implementation of control technologies particularly crucial. This article describes the infection cycle and pathogenesis of walnut anthracnose, and summarizes the research on physical, chemical, and biological control methods. It analyzes the current status and problems of various prevention and control studies, and provides countermeasures. The search for new technologies and integrated pest management methods for the prevention and control of walnut anthracnose aims to provide growers with a more comprehensive understanding of the pathogenesis and prevention measures of walnut anthracnose, and serve as a reference for the healthy development of China's walnut industry.
