噪音对圈养中华小熊猫幼体存活的影响

Effects of noise on the survival of captive Chinese red panda (Ailurus styani) cubs

  • 摘要: 为了探明噪音对圈养中华小熊猫(Ailurus styani)幼体存活的影响,2020年5~11月在中国大熊猫保护研究中心卧龙核桃坪基地使用噪音仪测量记录5组小熊猫母幼的环境噪音,结合温湿度、弃仔天数等相关数据综合分析。结果发现:小熊猫母兽弃仔天数与产后前5日的平均噪音存在负相关(P<0.01);65.02±1.12 dB的平均噪音(该期最高噪音平均为97.38±1.88 dB)会造成母兽弃仔影响幼仔的生存;≥70 dB噪音占据时间超过1.33%时,会影响初产母兽,弃仔风险增加。≤54.64±0.93 dB的平均噪音(平均最高噪音≤ 92.10±9.80 dB)不影响母幼。小熊猫母兽弃仔天数与月平均噪音、平均温度、平均湿度无相关性(P>0.05)。研究结果探明了影响中华小熊猫母兽弃仔的噪音范围,平均噪音≤54.64±0.93 dB可避免弃仔,对提高它们的存活率具有重要的意义。

     

    Abstract: In order to investigate the effects of noise on the survival of captive Chinese red pandas (Ailurus styani) cubs, the environmental noise of five female animals and their cubs were measured and recorded at Hetaoping Base, Wolong, China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda from May to November 2020, and comprehensively analyzed by combining the relevant data such as temperature and humidity, and the days of abandonment. The results indicated that there was a significant negative correlation between the number of days of abandonment and the average noise of the first 5 days after birth (P<0.01). The average noise of 65.02±1.12 dB (the maximum noise in this peord was 97.38±1.88 on average) could cause the newborn mother to abandon her cubs and affected the survival. When the time of ≥70 dB noise was more than 1.33%, it may affected newborn mother and increase the risk of abandonment. Correspondingly, the average noise ≤54.64±0.93 dB (the maximum noise were ≤92.10±9.80 dB on average) had rarely effect the newborn mother and cubs. There was no correlation between the number of days of abandoned cubs and the average monthly noise, average temperature and humidity (P>0.05). These results revealed the noise range that affected the abandonment of Chinese red panda female, and the average noise ≤54.64±0.93 dB could avoid abandonment, which was of great significance to improve the survival rate of cubs.
